Sofya Menshikova, a student of Professor Konstantin Scherbakov at the Zurich University of the Arts, graduated with honors in 2020 from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow with Professor Mira Marchenko and has since been a prize winner of national and international competitions.
She has participated in international festivals at the highest level in Italy, Austria, Lithuania, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Finland, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Estonia and Russia. Her talent was rewarded with the "Second International Competition for Young Pianists n. a. Robert Schumann" in Düsseldorf (2019), the semi-finalist of the 'Grand Finals' of the competition "14 ways to Dubai" (2021) and the "Duttweiler Hug Competition" in Zurich, Switzerland (2022).

But that's not all! Since Sofya has been studying in Zurich, she has already participated in countless concerts, projects and competitions in Switzerland, was awarded a scholarship from the Landolt Foundation as the best piano student in the entrance exams, was twice sponsored with the "Patent Scholarship ZHDK" and has played several times in the Tonhalle.

Sofya always stays up to date with the latest piano techniques and regularly participates in master classes with professors such as Grigory Gruzman, Dmitri Bashkirov, Piotr Paleczny, Dmitri Alexeev, Yoheved Kaplinsky and others. She has performed at international music festivals such as Moscow meets Friends (by Vladimir Spivakov), Winter International Festival of Arts in Sochi (by Jury Bashmet), Cannes International Music Festival: "Nuits Musicales du Suquet" (by Mischa Katz), American Fine Arts Festival - this in world-famous halls such as Carnegie Hall or the halls of Moscow State Conservatory.
Since the age of nine she has performed not only as a soloist but also in ensembles - currently as part of the "Eternal Trio".
